THE CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF
March 1, 2020
I am an Internal Medicine Physician who recently retired.
I have lived in the Billings Heights for 26 years.
My wife, Deanna, and I have five adult children and 10 grandchildren.
You can sometimes find me gardening, hiking, skiing, or fermenting various plants to make pickles, sauerkraut or wine.
I am a Democrat so I can protect civil rights, free enterprise and the rule of law.
I have worked in the private and public sector as a physician, epidemiologist, and medical administrator. I have worked in remote rural areas and large inner city medical centers. I have been taught by experience that a robust society requires constant effort by both the public and private sector. I hope to help our State to better serve the citizens, improve opportunity not only for businesses but individuals, and maintain our excellent quality of life.
What will my focus be in the legislature?
Improving supports for young families to improve their economic success and success raising the future citizens of Montana.
Improve education at all levels to promote well-being, productivity, and innovation in our state.
Focus on Health: Insure we have strong public health system. Improve healthcare financing. Reduce the cost of healthcare so it is not diverting resources away from other societal needs.
